The front and back side of the User Card can be preprint or it is possible to conduct personalization prior to use. During the use, in order not to allow damages inflicted on the card, attention must be paid not to cut it with sharp tools, not to fold and puncture and take  it closer to the high voltage units. For this process, it is sufficient that the cart is inserted in the card holder on the bollard and taken out after the process complete message. There will be no need for the programming carried out with the management card again, unless the key, price and money unit information has not changed.

With the values on the card and special codes are compared to the records on the program and return process is completed in a safe and sound manner.

Use of the System

Enterprise provides each user who will make use of the bollard with user card introduced to the system. User is obliged to activate the bollard using the user card he/she possesses. In order to do this, He or she inserts the cart in the card holder on the bollard to be used. With the direction messages appearing on the screen, the user conducts loading from the card to the bollard or from the bollard to the user card. Into the user card holder, the user inserts the card. Bollard automatically examines validity of the user card inserted into the card holder, as well as its inclusion in the system and whether there is credit on it.

If the card is included in the system, valid, and has credit, the confirmation of the options in the first screen for the loading from the card to the bollard or from the bollard to the user card is waited. If the card is included in the system, valid, but has no credit, on the first screen, only the option for loading from the bollard to the card will be preferable. When on the screen where the user card is included in the system, valid, and has credit, if the loading from the card to the bollard option is selected, on the next screen, which counter unit on the bollard on which the loading will be applied will be asked. Loading will be carried out, and subsequent to selecting the counter, the amount of credit with which the loading is desired to be done is asked. On this screen,  5 to 10 credits and the multiples can be selected while it is possible to utilize the entire credit option. After selecting the amount to be loaded from the card to the bollard, the bollard checks whether the balance on the card is able to meet the amount of credit preferred. If not met, it warns via a message and ensures that reselection is conducted. If met, it asks confirmation via a message that shows the amount of credit to be loaded from the card to the bollard and the loading is about to be carried out is emitted.

With the key pressed for confirmation, the amount of referred credit is loaded from the card. While loading the credit to the bollard, user card ID information is recorded together with the credit. Hence, in the event that subsequently, return of the credit from the bollard to the card is desired, the bollard checks the ID of the card that does the return process and if any mismatch occurs, it does not allow such return of the credit. Same ID check is applied when addition of credits to a counter on a credit-loaded bollard.

On a counter on a previously credit loaded bollard credit reloading  cannot be applied via different cards. During the loading from the card to the bollard or from the bollard to the card, if the user takes out the card at any stage from the card holder, this will cause that the desired transaction will be cancelled. There will be no change in the amounts of the credits on the card or the bollard. Change of the credit amounts is possible by pressing the confirmation key at the last stage. In the event that no transaction can be carried out or the contact with the card is interrupted, there will also be no change in the amounts of the credit. In such case, a warning message will appear on the screen. Should the user wishes to revoke his/her credit on the bollard, he/she is again obliged to insert the user card in the card holder. After selecting the load-to-card from the bollard on the screen, the counter where the credit to be returned must be selected. Subsequent to the counter selection, the amount of credit desired to be returned is preferred. On this screen,  5 to 10 credits and the multiples can be selected while it is possible to utilize the entire credit option. After selecting, the bollard checks whether the balance on the card is able to meet the amount of credit preferred to be returned on the selected counter and whether the ID of the card with which return is true. If not met, it warns via a message and ensures that reselection is conducted. If the credit is enough and the ID is correct, it displays it on the screen and shows credit to be loaded from the bollard to the card. Confirmation is waited. After the confirmation, preferred credit amount is loaded to the card.

In the event that the user is unable to use the card for any reasons (like loss, theft or damage on the card), if the credit on the bollard is wished to be taken back, "money retrieval" card is used by the enterprise officer and the process is realized. In the event that the users give up using the bollard without using the entire credit and without conducting the return loading from the bollard to the card, "money retrieval" card must used by the enterprise officer and enterprise officer and the bollard must be ready for loading by the subsequent user.
